FAQ

How is a crypto payment gateway different from a card payment gateway?

Both stand between the buyer paying and the merchant's systems, accept a payment, verify it, and report the result. The difference is the rails. A card gateway authorises a charge through the acquiring and issuing banks; a crypto gateway issues a blockchain deposit address, watches the network for the incoming transaction, and credits the merchant once it settles on-chain. A crypto gateway also has no chargebacks — a confirmed on-chain payment cannot be reversed by a third party — so returning funds is a deliberate payout rather than a forced reversal.
