FAQ

Why is USDT so common for Turkish merchants and customers?

Years of high inflation and a falling lira have made a dollar-pegged token a practical way to hold and move value on-chain. A USDT balance is effectively a dollar balance, so quoting and settling in USDT keeps a sale anchored to dollars regardless of where the lira sits. Tron-based USDT is especially common locally because its transfer cost is low and predictable, but halfin lets each customer pay on whichever supported network they already hold funds on.
