Do I get a webhook when a deposit arrives?

Yes. When a deposit to one of your static addresses clears its network's confirmations and is credited to your balance, halfin sends a balance.credited webhook to your endpoint. That event is how you learn that funds arrived without polling the API. It is signed, it is the authoritative signal that money has moved into your balance, and it carries the detail you need to attribute the deposit to the right customer. The pattern is event-driven: create the address once, store it, and wait for halfin to tell you when value lands.
