FAQ

How do refunds work?

A halfin refund returns value toward the original payer, and it is tied to the invoice the customer already paid rather than floating free as an arbitrary transfer. An on-chain payment cannot be reversed at the protocol level, so a refund is not a chargeback or an undo — it is a fresh outbound transfer an operator chooses to send, reasoned about against the amount the customer paid on that invoice. That anchoring is what makes a refund controlled, auditable, and easy to reconcile against the original sale.
