Can I build while onboarding is pending?

Yes. You can build the entire integration while onboarding is still pending, because onboarding gates real funds, not development. Once your account is set up through onboarding, a sandbox key from the dashboard authenticates against the same REST API as production — it just moves test data with nothing on-chain. So you wire up invoices, payouts, idempotency, and webhook handling against the real endpoints, verify the whole flow end to end, and finish onboarding in parallel. Going live is then a credential swap, not a rebuild.
