FAQ

Why does halfin require KYB?

Because halfin needs to know who it is providing payment infrastructure to before that infrastructure moves real money. KYB — know your business — is the verification step that establishes who your business is and who controls it, and it is the gate between sandbox and live mode. The sandbox needs none of this: a sandbox key talks to the same API but moves only test data, so you can build the whole integration before verification is finished. KYB is required only where it matters — the moment a key would settle a real deposit or release a real payout.
