FAQ

Can I schedule recurring payouts?

halfin does not have a built-in scheduler that fires payouts on a calendar for you. Instead, you own the timing: your system decides when a run should go out and fans out a POST to /api/v1/payouts for each recipient at that moment. Make every call idempotent with its own key, and a cron job or queue on your side can drive a weekly, monthly, or event-triggered cadence safely. The approval gate still applies to each payout, so a human releases the run before any funds move.
