FAQ

How do I issue a refund?

You issue a refund yourself — it is merchant-initiated, never a customer-side reversal. You start from the invoice the customer paid, decide whether to return the full amount or part of it, and an operator with the right permission approves the return. halfin then signs the transaction and sends the value back to the customer on-chain. Because crypto payments are final and have no chargebacks, this deliberate, operator-approved send is the only way value goes back to a payer — there is no automatic claw-back to trigger.
