FAQ

What do I need for KYB onboarding?

KYB — know your business — is the verification halfin runs at onboarding to establish who your business is, who controls it, and that it is permitted to collect and send funds before any real money moves through your account. It is a process, not a certificate halfin issues on your behalf and not a setting you toggle in the API. The honest answer to "what do I need?" is that the depth of what is asked depends on your business, your structure, and the jurisdictions you operate in — the onboarding conversation is where those specifics are settled. What you can count on: you do not need KYB finished to start building, and you do need it finished before a live key can settle a real deposit or release a real payout.
